"Back in the 70s we use to visit this pub most nights of the week. We went there for 10 years plus. I was told it had shut down and if it was not for a visit to Arley Train station and the harbour I noticed the pub was now a restaurant and pub so stopped for a meal and drink. Drinks are good value, food is excellent and we definitely will be going back there again. The last time I put a foot inside the pub was 1981 we visited again in 2022. To me there are some changes but it was like coming home again after 41 years.,

"My Husband and I have been visiting This lovely pub for 14 years .It has been partly responsible for many hangovers from the best nights of drinks flowing and good company . Every other Sunday we pop in to see Rick and his friendly staff for in our opinion the best Sunday lunch .Food piping hot .Meats for tender and veg is fresh all cooked with care for their customers."
